Registration is OPEN
We are using League Apps for teams to register on-line. The link is available under the 2017 Fall Registration paragraph. For new coaches to register, you will have to initially log in creating a user name and password, thereafter the process is fairly easy. For existing coaches, you should be able to use the same user name and password from the spring. You will now be able to use a credit card when registering to pay for your registration fee. Please note that there is an online fee ($10) when paying using a credit card. If you do pay by check, you do not have to pay the online fee.
When you register your age division, please note that it would be based on the 2018 Spring dates.
If you are registering for your team, but will not be the contact person for scheduling and administration throughout the season, please send us an email on how you want your coaches listed in the listing and we will update appropriately.
Registration for age divisions 7U through 18U should be completed by August 19. Cost is $150
The TSE Board has reviewed the skill classification for the teams that played this past spring. All teams that played a minimum of 10 games and had a winning percentage at or higher than 80% this past spring, will be moved up to the next skill classification in your age division (unless they are already at it). Additional information on team classification can be found on the web site under League Info - Resources.
Scheduling – August 20
Please do not do any scheduling until the coaches listing comes out on August 20. It will come out mid morning. The time will be announced in advance. All scheduling will take place via text, phone or email. There will be no onsite meetings in the fall. Coaches that do pre-schedule will be left off the list when it goes out on the scheduling date.
2018 Bat Rule Update - Reminder
USA Baseball, the national governing body for the sport of baseball in the United States, will be adopting a new method for measuring bat performance in the testing of youth baseball bats effective January 1, 2018. TSE will adopt as well for 2018. As done in previous years with BBCOR bats, the new "USABat Standard" will create wood-like performance in youth baseball bats. TSE, like AABC, AAU, Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken, Dixie, Little League and PONY will all be affected by the USABat rule change. The TSE League will keep its current bat policy for the fall season, as all the current league approved bats can be used through December 31, 2017.
We are also using League Apps for teams to register for the tournaments. Teams that are playing in the League receive a $50 discount on the tournaments. Simply enter “tse” (small case) in the Discount Code field when registering for the tournament and the discount will be applied. As with the League, teams have the ability to pay using a credit card. Games played during these tournaments against other TSE teams will count as scheduled games and be reflected in the standings.
