2018 SEASON UPDATE - February 8, 2018

Pre-Season League Meeting – Thursday, February 22 at 7:00pm
TSE will host a league wide meeting for all new coaches, teams and programs to walk through how the League works, discuss rules and review the scheduling process. It is not mandatory, but recommended to help out each coach as they prepare for the season. This meeting will help new coaches coordinate scheduling on the day the coaches listing is released. In addition, the meeting is available to existing coaches if they have matters they wish to discuss with us in person. This will take place on February 22 at 7:00pm at Camden Catholic High School (300 Cuthbert Blvd, Chery Hill, NJ 08002). We will have baseballs at the meeting for sale at $36/dozen.

Drive to the back of the building toward the athletic fields. Once behind the school, enter the door on the far left labeled C2. The dining hall will be the second door on the left.

Registration Reminder
Registration for age divisions 8U through 14U should be completed by March 4, 15/16U and 17/18U should be completed by April 21, and there will be a meeting for 7U will take place in early April. Teams registered to date are included in the website under the League Info/Standings page.

Age Divisions 7U, 15/16U and 17/18U = $175

New Skill Classification - Recreation
We have created a new skill classification for ages 8U through 14U – RECREATION. To enhance participation for this classification, we would propose to have divisions set up at 7/8U, 9/10U, 11/12U and 13/14U. This skill classification would be for those in house programs that do not have enough teams in their Rec League to schedule against multiple teams and/or for those teams that may need more experience playing travel baseball prior to moving to the Rookie level. In this classification, the goal would be to try and regionalize the teams, have a balanced schedule (home and away) with a pre-set number of games each team would play, and no playoffs at the end of the season. Teams registering at this classification would not be permitted to schedule outside of other Recreation level teams.

TSE Tournaments
The schedule for the TSE hosted tournaments is listed on the Home page. A link to the registration can also be found there. Only those tournaments that TSE hosts will count as scheduled games and be reflected in the standings. We will maintain our relationship with Sports at the Beach. Games played against other TSE teams at SATB will also count. Further, teams playing there will have an opportunity to receive a discount (process is detailed on the Home page of our website).
