USA Baseball, the national governing body for the sport of baseball in the United States, will be adopting a new method for measuring bat performance in the testing of youth baseball bats effective January 1, 2018.  As done in previous years with BBCOR bats, the new "USABat Standard" will create wood-like performance in youth baseball bats. TSE, like AABC, AAU, Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken, Dixie, Little League and PONY will all be affected by the USABat rule change. The TSE League will keep its current bat policy in place through the 2017 Spring and Fall seasons, as all the current league approved bats can be used through December 31, 2017. We will keep the League members timely updated on the bat rules as new information is released about the USABat Standard.
