2025 Spring Season Update - November 1, 2024

WELCOME to our 18th season! Below is some general and important information for the upcoming 2025 season. This is our first of various updates we will provide leading up to registration.

Bat Rules – Effective Spring 2025
During the fall season, we had a trial basis allowing the use of the USSSA bats in League play. There was overwhelming negative feedback with various reasons on the use of the bats. As a result, USSSA bats will not be allowed and we will revert back to the previous guidelines for ages 8U through 12U requiring the USA Baseball Marking. The Bat Rules, effective for the Spring 2025 season are listed in the Playing Rules in addition to being posted on the Home page of our website.

Registration
Registration is open for the 2025 season through League Apps. The link is available under the Registration paragraph on the home page of our website. We have added the ability to register as a program owner for multiple teams or as a single team coach. To register, you will have to initially (or what you previously created) log in creating a user name and password, thereafter the process is fairly easy. You are able to use a credit card when registering to pay for your registration fee. Please note that there is an online fee when paying using a credit card. If you do pay by check, you do not have to pay the online fee. All registration should take place online. All teams must submit a registration form. We cannot accept phone calls and e-mails as completing the registration process.

Registration Fees: $225

Season Timeline (Draft/Tentative)
March 2 - Registration ends 8U through 14U

March 9 - Scheduling 8U through 14U (Time 10:00am)

April (first week) - 7U: Registration ends; On-Site Meeting: scheduling and playoff cutoff determination

April 20 – 15/16U and 17/18U: Registration ends

April 21 – 15/16U and 17/18U: Scheduling (Time 10:00am)

June 16 – Cutoff for playoffs 8U through 14U

July 21 – Cutoff for playoffs 15/16U and 17/18U

Scheduling
No scheduling should take place until registration is closed and the coaches listing is distributed. Be courteous to the other coaches who do follow protocol. Everyone will be notified the day and time the listing will be sent to the coach of each registered team. If you fail to follow protocol, your team and related contact information will not be listed on the coaches listing when it is distributed for scheduling.

TSE Sanctioned Tournaments
The Mid Atlantic Warriors are hosting 7 tournaments that are sanctioned by TSE. All games in these tournaments will be reflected in the standings and count towards your minimum game requirements. The link to register for these tournaments is on the Home page of the website.

Insurance Enrollment
For those teams/programs that are looking for insurance or want to shop and compare with what they currently have, the league is offering the opportunity for you to acquire your team’s insurance through Frazier Insurance. League and Rules Discussion for 2025

Our goal is to review the League on an annual basis and improve the quality of the way the League is managed. This is a standard process prior to every season where the Board will review and evaluate each recommendation for inclusion in the playing rules.

We have baseballs on hand and will coordinate delivery of them to you. We will also have available for sale at the Pre-Season meeting. The pre-season cost is $49/dozen ($52 if you order on-line).
