Everyone will be notified the day and time the listing will be sent to the coach of each registered team. If you fail to follow protocol, your team and related contact information will not be listed on the coaches listing when it is distributed for scheduling.

Insurance Enrollment

Playoff Format
No changes from last spring season. We would eliminate the Rookie and Minor skill classification designations and group all of the teams under each age division. Teams can schedule and play against any team, but should not schedule and play a team more than three times if they wish to participate in the playoffs.

Seeding determination for the playoffs would be based on the Overall winning percentage. We would create a National and American division. We would take the top 16 teams (assuming that many teams opt to participate) for each age division. The top 8 teams based on Overall winning percentage would participate in the National division playoffs. The next 8 would participate in the American division playoffs. Ideally, the National division would comprise of the traditional Minor teams and those top level Rookie teams that perhaps should be classified as Minors, and the American division would be comprised of true Rookie teams.

Annual Pre-Season League Meeting
We will host a league wide meeting for all new coaches, teams and programs in late February (time and location will be announced in a future Update) to walk through how the league works, discuss rules and review the scheduling process. It is not mandatory, but recommended to help out the new coaches as they prepare for the season. In addition, the meeting is available to existing coaches if they have matters they wish to discuss with us in person.

Proposed Rule Change on Using Illegal Players
Normally, player eligibility challenges take place during the playoffs and not necessarily during the season. The proposed new rule is that if a team has been using an illegal player during the season (not league eligible), that team will forfeit their opportunity to participate in the playoffs.

Should you have any comments on the League in general, please submit them to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Our goal is to review the League on an annual basis and improve the quality of the way the League is managed. This is a standard process prior to every season where the Board will review and evaluate each recommendation for inclusion in the playing rules.
