TSE Scheduling and Playoff Update
March 6, 2022

Coaches Listing Release Date and Time (Age Divisions 8U – 14U)
The listing will be sent out on March 12 beginning at 10:00am at which time coaches can begin scheduling their season. Please note that the 8U listing will go out first at 10:00. Allow for about 3 minutes for the next age division to be released, and repeat the process through the 14U division which would be around 10:15.

Scheduling Process
The Head Coach’s Name from the registration form will be the first name listed for the team and will be deemed the primary contact for scheduling purposes. The Assistant Coach’s Name is the second name listed. If you need to change, please let us know by end of day Friday so that we can adjust the listing. Teams will begin scheduling Saturday morning. We advise teams not to wait until later in the day to schedule as it may become more challenging in getting all the games you want. Scheduling is done by coaches working together and contacting each other via email, text or phone. Have your dates mapped out for availability prior to scheduling for efficiency when you start the process at 10:00.

Season Start and End Date
The season starts any time after March 12 when your team is ready to play, and the weather is cooperative. The playoff cutoff date is June 19. The end date to the season is July 17.

Skill Classifications
Skill classifications will NOT be listed in the Standings on account of the playoff format. Teams can schedule and play against any team regardless of skill level. However they should work together when scheduling to prevent playing non-competitive games.

Team Schedule Form

A league approved format is contained within the website under the League Info/Resource page. Once your schedule is complete, send to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we will load into the site for you. Also, please ensure you include the applicable team name when there are multiple teams for one program (e.g., Red or Blue).

Playoff Requirements
Teams must play a minimum of 10 games overall to qualify for the playoffs. This number will not change at the end of the season.

Scheduling and Playoff Format
The goal is to provide more teams the opportunity to participate in the playoffs and create playoff divisions that will tier the teams based on their record. We eliminate the Rookie and Minor skill classification designations and group all of the teams under each age division. Teams can schedule and play against any team, but could not schedule and play a team more than three times if they wish to participate in the playoffs.

Seeding determination for the playoffs would be based on the Overall winning percentage. We would take the top 16 teams (assuming that many teams opt to participate) for each age division. The top 8 teams based on Overall winning percentage will participate in the National division playoffs. The next 8 will participate in the American division playoffs. TSE has the right to change the number of teams participating in the playoffs based on how many teams are registered within an age division. TSE may also change the format based on how many teams opted to participate (e.g., 6 team format vs 8 team format).

Umpires
During the season, the Home team secures the umpires. The cost is split by both teams.

Confirmation of Games
Be committed to the games that you schedule. Ensure during the season, that a few days prior to the game that you confirm the game, location, time, etc. with your opposing coach so there is no misunderstanding of the game.
