2023 Spring Season Update - January 27, 2023

Registration – Complete by March 4 (Ages 8U – 14U)
Registration is open for the 2023 season through League Apps. The link is available under the Registration paragraph on the home page of our website. All registration must take place online. 8U – 18U: $225
7U: $200
Please note that there is an online fee when paying using a credit card.

NEW: Spring Team Playoff Awards
Teams will now have the opportunity to use their team award for the following fall or next spring season (certain restrictions may apply). Each age division champion team will receive a free tournament at Sports At The Beach. Each runner-up team will receive a 50% discount on a tournament at SATB.

NEW: 14U Age Division Playoff Cut-Off Date Discussion
Because 14U teams may have 9th graders, they either can't use their full roster until late May or can't schedule as many games until after High School season is over. We are looking to extend their season/playoff cutoff date from June 18 to July 16. We would like to poll the coaches, receive their input and make the decision to extend based on the responses we receive.

NEW: 10U to 12U Playoffs Discussion
For ages 10U to 12U, we are looking to add a third division of playoffs. We will still have the traditional National and American Division, and now are offering a Town Division that will allow "town” teams the opportunity for equal and adequate competition during playoffs.
When TSE solicits teams the opportunity to participate in the playoffs, we will continue our process of accepting a team wishing to participate unless they request to participate in the Town Division. Below is a summary of how each Division will be determined. We welcome your comments before implementing for the upcoming season.

National Division - Accept up to 8 teams. Start with all Minor teams that request to participate. Minor teams will be seeded above Rookie teams. Seed based on overall winning percentage. If less than 8 Minor teams, complete the bracket with the top Rookie teams based on overall winning percentage.

American Division - Accept up to 8 teams. No Minor teams can participate in this Division. Determine the number of Rookie teams requesting to participate less those teams playing in the National Division. Seed based on overall winning percentage.

Town Division - Accept up to 8 teams, based upon request. If a team has a winning percentage at or above 650%, they cannot participate at this Division as their record would demonstrate they are capable of competing in one of the other Divisions. Seed based on overall winning percentage.

TSE Sanctioned Tournaments
Mid Atlantic Warriors Baseball and Stafford Baseball (LBI) are hosting TSE sanctioned tournaments. All games played during these tournaments count in the standings. This will help teams with adding games to their schedule and meeting playoff game requirements. The registration link to these tournaments is on the Home page of the website.

Teams Registered to Date
Teams registered to date are listed in the age division under Standings. If you registered and your team is not listed, send an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we will ensure it is added.

Baseballs for Sale
If you are interested in purchasing baseballs, please send an e-mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with your request. We have baseballs on hand and will coordinate delivery of them to you. We will also have available for sale at the Pre-Season meeting. The cost is $47/dozen ($49 if you order on-line).

Scheduling
No scheduling should take place until registration is closed and the coaches listing is distributed. Be courteous to the other coaches who do follow protocol. Everyone will be notified the day and time the listing will be sent to the coach of each registered team. If you fail to follow protocol, your team and related contact information will not be listed on the coaches listing when it is distributed for scheduling.

April 22 – 15/16U and 17/18U: Registration ends
April 23 – 15/16U and 17/18U: Scheduling (Time 10:00am)
June 18 – Cutoff for playoffs 8U through 13U
July 16 – Cutoff for playoffs 14U, 15/16U and 17/18U
